Portfolio

I have had a fair amount of experience through my lifetime. Here are some of my academic and personal highlights!

Awards and Scholarships

In my sophomore year at NUAMES High School I was nominated Student of the Term by Kelli Jones, my Secondary Math II teacher and Capstone Advisor.

In my Digital Photography class in freshman year I was given an award for my final project. I took this photo on October 26, 2019. Additional photos are at the bottom of this page.

I was a student at a Spanish Immersion charter school, North Davis Preparatory Academy, where I learned Spanish for my first 10 years in formal schooling. I have used my skills to communicate with people at work and in my travels.

In my freshman year of high school I ran on North Davis Preparatory Academy’s Cross Country team. Before this I had a little experience with Track and Field as a kid, and running is something I would say I enjoy doing. My fastest 2 mile run had come down to 14:36.

Photography

I have had a knack for photography for many years, but there are some photos that stand above the rest. Here are a few of those photos!

Communications Service Project

In my Communications 2110 course I had the opportunity to do some service with my group. We had challenges in communicating with different groups and organizations, but had finally been given a project we could work with.

Syracuse City does a massive Easter egg hunt every year, and part of the clean-up process is to color match eggs that had been taken apart during the hunt. We did 8 hours of service for this project, putting together over 10,000 eggs collectively as a group.

Other Artwork

I have taken many art courses throughout the last 5 years of my school career. Here are some projects I am most proud of!

I love this collage because I’ve always had a thing for arbitrary art that has no real meaning behind it.

An “artifact” I made in my 9th grade English class. What might it be?

A fun print on a wooden plank. We had a photo shoot on Antelope Island and I really loved how this one turned out!

I love art that tells a story. Whether or not you see a story in this piece is up to you, but I think this is one of my favorite works!

Dot-to-dots have always been really fun for me, and this piece contains over 1,300 dots! It took me hours, but I’d say it is majestic.

Though this could go under my photography, this piece took a lot of thought and preparation, and though it is one of my earliest photos it might be one of my best.
